BMW ProSummer Glove

BMW's ProSummer Gloves are a light summer touring gloves. They're very light yet waterproof suitable for summer wear. Easy to put on or pull off even when wet; wrinkle free fit. Permanently wind and waterproof and breathable with GORE-TEX® X-TRAFITT®. Double layers of leather at the palm and side of the hand with Kevlar® backing. Gauntlet may be worn beneath or on top of the sleeve closure with the width adjustment. There's even a a practical visor wiper lip on the left index finger!

Material:
Palm of the hand, double layers, back of the hand partially 0.7 / 1.0 mm Nappa kid leather, hydrophobically treated.
Back of the hand: Cordura® stretch. GORE-TEX® membrane.
Lining: light functional fabric, Jersey piqué with perspiration dissipation properties.
Visiblitly:
3M stripes along the edge of the hand and gauntlet.
Protection:
Double layers of leather at the palm and side of the hand with Kevlar® backing.
Knuckles equipped with leather stretch.
Back of the hand with impact absorbing Temperfoam®, 3 mm thick.
Logo:
Embroidered BMW logotype with a slight contrast on both index fingers.

X-TRAFIT™ is a 3-layer design with the layers glued / laminated together.
The lining is attached to the membrane and the membrane in turn to the leather = no more pulling out with wet or sweaty hands. Easy to get in despite wet hands – no twisted or shifted membrane to obstruct the openings for the fingers.
Back of the hand with light padding to prevent cooling down in the rain.
Velcro bar: narrow wrist bar with grab section on the outside.
Large Velcro bar at the inside of the gauntlet.
