The AX-9 visor insert installs into your face shield easily with no tools. It's constructed with a double-sided adhesive foam gasket and once mounted it is intended to be permanent.

The AX-9's state-of-the-art electronic driver offers both manual and automatic hands-free control. While programmed with a standard light threshold, the AX-9 includes the option to program custom settings so the tint may automatically and instantly change in any desired lighting condition.

Liquid crystals consume little power for operation. The E-Tint AX-9's custom electronics allow manual as well as automatic operation. When a low voltage is applied to the substrate of the insert, the liquid crystals instantly darken. They return to their default state (light) when that voltage is removed. Powered by a high-capacity rechargeable lithium polymer battery which can be recharged when the supplied micro USB cable is connected to a computer or a wall adaptor (not included).
