Handlebar Risers for BMW K1200GT (2006-08) - K1300GT (2009-Later) by Suburban Machinery
This handlebar riser is made specifically for the K1300GT and will also fit the K1200GT.*
On the K1300GT, the BB4, set in the highest position, will move the hand grips approximately 1.1" up and 1.1" back. The diagonal change from factory position is 1.55".
Need to add some accessories to your K1300GT? The BB4 comes with 1/4" x 20 threaded holes in the top surface for attaching a RAM ball mount. Stainless button head cap screws are included for mounting an accessory plate across the two adapters.
- Notes:
- The BB4 kit will fit on 2006-07 K1200GT, but due to throttle cable length
only the lower three positions will work. Changing to K1300GT throttle cables,
which are longer, will allow the use of all 5 positions as it does for the
K1300GT. Find these below under Recommended Items, note that you'll need 6 ea. "seal rings" (washers.)
- During the 2008 model year, BMW changed the brake and clutch hose used on the K1200GT to the design used on the K1300GT. If you own a 2008 K1200GT you may have this newer system which will allow the full use of the BB4 handlebar adapter.
