The WP MX 5018 TRAX 09 is a highly competitive off-road racing unit. What distinguishes this unit from any other brand on the market is it's unique, patented TRAX system. TRAX generates substantial grip improvement at the rear wheel, as well as during acceleration and under braking.

The WP TRAX system features a 50mm. diameter piston, 18mm. diameter piston rod and all aluminum parts are hard anodized. The MX 5018 TRAX 09 is externally adjustable with separate High and Low speed compression damping, rebound damping and spring pre-load.
Replacement of the standard rear suspension unit with a WP MX 5018 TRAX shock does not require any chassis modifications. The entire mechanical, and self-regulating TRAX system has been developed and tested during the past three years, and was manufactured in a limited quantity for the retail market.
