Cylinder Head Protectors - Hex Head - Machineart Moto
X-Head Cylinder Head Guards provide wide area protection,
they're designed to protect both the valve and spark plug covers. X-Heads
are made of tough pressure-formed polycarbonate.
Even a driveway drop will cause a bike to roll onto the face of the valve cover; X-Heads wide shape helps to protect more area. Polycarbonate exhibits good wear resistance. (Please note: All materials will wear from abrasion at speed.)

Easy to install on your BMW R1200GS, R1200ST or R1200R in
a few minutes with included stainless steel hex bolts using existing cylinder
head bosses.
Installation on R1200RT requires loosening the lower fairing
bolts to allow room to maneuver though no panels need be removed.
R1200RT installation typically takes 20 - 40 minutes.
