Splash Guards - by Verholen
Here's the simplest, most effective means to reduce water spray from the road. They install in minutes and can keep your boots from excessively water-soaked. When there's no rain, they're quick and easy to remove to increase air flow over your boots. Verholen has even made a set specifically for those running Hepco-Becker style crash bars.
The Verholen splash guard is the ultimate must have for all-weather
Easy to install:
The spray guard is simply pushed into the rail and fixed into place with a screw. The mounting rail is fastened to the cylinder with a screw. A tie bolt prevents it from rotating and spacers are included with the kit. Kit is available for bikes with or without crash bars (choose from the menu above).
these guards are most popular for riders of the BMW 'GS models*, the kit
will work with most Oil Head Boxer-engine bikes (R1100x R1150x and R1200x)
through 2012 except R1200ST. Not
for water-cooled engines

On warm and sunny days, you can easily remove the spray guards: just remove the holding screw and pull the rubber part out.
