This OEM accessory from BMW allows you connect your AGM battery charger directly to your battery +/- posts with the large alligator clips.
If you have drained your battery completely, the BMW AGM Battery Charger only works by first turning on your key to your bike to power up the computer on the CANbus wire harness. You would then plug the AGM Battery Charger into the wall outlet for power and then plug the male end into the female accessory socket of your bike. You then turn your key off and the charger is recognized on the bikes circutry and leaves that accessory plug open so the battery charger can then do its thing (charge the battery). Without any juice in your battery to turn the bike on and power up the circuit, the charger will not be recognized by your bikes computer and you are STUCK!
You simply connect this BMW female adapter plug to the male end of your BMW AGM Battery charger and then attach the alligator clips directly to the battery +/- posts. No need to turn the key on for your computer to recognize and open up the circuit.
Please bear in mind, if your battery is completely dead, it may be so discharged that it won't come back at all.
