The ZTechnik® Z2243 Adjustable Windshield is the same
as the ZTechnik® Z2242 (found below, under "Recommended Items").
However, it utilizes an exclusive rake adjustment which allows easy rake adjustment.
It does not require loosening and tightening of fixing screws like the OEM
shield so rake adjustment can be quickly accomplished while sitting on the
bike.

The design of the R1200GS windshield from ZTechnik comes straight off the Autobahn. Made about 2 inches (50mm) taller, and 4 inches (50mm per side) wider, this windshield is designed for highway wind and weather protection for the adventure rider who's on the highway more than offroad.
Substantially improved airflow and wind protection are
immediately evident with this windshield. Beyond the increased size, it's
made from 4.5mm hard coated Lexan® FMR polycarbonate sheet. It resists
everyday scuffs and wears 100 times better than the stock shield. And you
can add superb optics to the package, too. Your ability to see the road is
not compromised with this high quality shield.
