Loud pipes, turbulant wind going by your helmet at 60 or more miles per hour plus traffic and road noise can all be reduced to a quiet, less fatiguing rate with the use of hearing protection. Hearos™ Xtreme are rated at stellar 33 NRR (Noise Reduction Rating). For example if the envorinmental noise measured at the ear is 92 dB, the NRR is 33 decibels (dB) which equates to the noise entering the ear at only 59 dB - a serious improvement.
