AeroFlow Aero Screen - BMW R1150RT Motorcycle
The AeroScreen for your BMW R1150RT is 3¼" taller
and 4" wider than the OEM windshield.
It is designed to allow the rider to see over the screen while providing optimum
protection for both the rider and passenger. This allows you to avoid raising
your windshield screen higher than its ability to provide laminar airflow.
(When you stall the air flow at the top by having the shield too vertical,
it will generate more turbulence.)
The AeroScreen is designed for optimum aerodynamic efficiency.
Its larger air intake offers you improved laminar airflow and reduced turbulence.
The "Flares" (or lip) at the top and sides increase laminar airflow,
which reduces turbulence and relieves back pressure. It also offers more hand,
arm, shoulder and helmet protection. Its Compound Curves,
coupled with the flares and the larger air intake lip at the bottom combine
allowing maximum coverage while allowing you to look over the screen.
The AeroScreen utilizes stock windscreen mounting locations and stock mounting screws and it retains stock range of adjustability.
