By every measure, BMW's K1600GTL lives up to the Italian phrase Gran Turismo which is used to signify a vehicle able to make long-distance, high-speed journeys in both comfort and style.
Corbin has taken that comfort to the next level with ergonomic sculpting and wide supportive bucket shaping. Notice how the shape of the seat is lowest in the center. This relives central pressure from your tailbone. The shape is contoured out to cradle your body and disperse weight over a greater area. This adds up to comfort and support that will keep you in the saddle long enough to run that seven gallon fuel dry!
The built-in electric seat heaters integrate with the BMW control module and a conveniently located passenger control switch on the right side works just like the stock unit. Temperature is controlled and maintained like the OEM unit, providing luxurious heat on chilly mornings.
Corbin saddles are built up with their exclusive Comfort Cell® foam. This means the seat may feel firm at first, but it will break-in to your body and provide lasting support for years ...firm is a good thing!
The saddle features classic basketweave genuine leather seating areas that conform along with the saddle for perfect break-in. We use coordinated vinyl side panels to complete the custom look while keeping the saddle looking sharp and the foam shape crisp. We're bringing riders a high value by providing leather saddles at a fair price.
NOTES: Corbin heaters use wiring pigtail that integrates with the OEM harness.
The Corbin saddle design is similar to the standard BMW seat (not the low model) for maximum touring support.
Corbin offers a lifetime warranty on the foam, basepan and
hardware with one year on the cover and heater units. This warranty applies
to the original owner. Normal wear & tear or physical damage due to external
forces (like your dog chewing it up) are not covered under the Corbin warranty.
Any problem encountered with the material or workmanship of your Corbin saddle
will be repaired at no charge to you. If you have a possible warranty situation,
please contact the Corbin customer Service department so they may determine
the cause of the failure.
