BMW ProSport Gloves

BMW ProSport Gloves are a sporty glove made of highly breathable, abrasion-resistant cowhide leather. Double thickness leathre at ball and along the edge of hand. Wiper on each thumb.

Features:
Double-thickness leather at ball and along edge of hand, made of highly abrasion-resistant Pittards Keratan, with foam padding.
Soft, 3-part knuckle pad with up to 8 mm of impact-absorbing foam.
Foam on back of fingers (approx. 3 mm), interrupted at the joints for bore flexibility.
Palm unlined for direct grip and feedback from the handlebars.
Back with light 'Charmeuse' fabric liner.
Long cuff with TPU reflective zone and large Velcro adjuster.
Narrow Velcro-fastener pad at wrist, covered in leather for protection in the event of a fall.
Perforations between the fingers for ventilation.
Elastic stretch zone on the back of the hand.
Soft velour leather wiper on each thumb.
Perfect, crease-free fit with sharply curved fingers.
Very comfortable to wear - no pressure points seam allowance is on the outside at critical locations.
Two-tone, with light-colored palm (light color prevents perspiration-staining of rider's fingers).

Details:
The unique make-up of this application, which consists of leather and a synthetic surface layer, significantly increases the abrasion resistance of the leather.
The special hard surface treatment is in the form of an etched diamond pattern bonded to the leather's fibre structure (1) (see illustration).
The pattern allows the leather to retain its properties of flexibility and breathability, for example, (2) (see illustration).
Outside seam allowance at the seams of the palm make for a high level of wear comfort: the seams on the fingers have a ½ outside seam allowance. This means that there are fewer uncomfortable seam beads and this eliminates pressure points.
