BMW K1600GT without expense and added weight of a top case. The
RCU Designs' Backrest is well made, practical
and good looking; it mounts on the factory rear luggage carrier and provides
a handy storage pocket to carry small items.
- Includes an integrated storage bag made from 1000 denier padded Cordura
for carrying small items.
- The backrest pad measures 7.75" at its widest point, and 8" tall. It's covered with marine vinyl for maximum weather resistance.
- Frame is 1/4" Aircraft-alloy aluminum with black powder-coated finish. All
hardware is zinc coated screws for corrosion resistance.
- Mounts on the stock luggage rack, preserving the entire seat for the passenger.
Have a K1600GTL? While your BMW top case cannot be used in conjunction
with this item, it is removable and if you'd like to provide a
backrest for your passenger when you're not using it, the RCU backrest is
just the ticket!
