Navigator IV GPS - BMW K1600GT, K1600GTL and R1200GS (WC) Motorcycles - by BMW

Bluetooth-compatible GPS navigation system for motorcycling.

Features:
Fully integrated attachment to the instrument panel of the K1600GT or K1600GTL. (Note: The device is visually perfectly integrated and it is also protected against theft by the windscreen, which moves down to the low position when the motorcycle is parked.)
Fully integrated into the LIN Bus of the 2013-later R1200GS (WC).
Integration into the on-board electronics:
- Convenient and safe operation of the most important functions by Multi-Controller on the left handlebar fitting (zoom, repeat last navigation announcement, switch between map view/trip computer/media player, mute automatic voice announcements and switch off display).
- Dynamic guidance on the basis of the TMC radio announcements of the optional audio platform to avoid traffic congestion and delays.
- Proposal of nearest filling station when fuel on board drops to a preset for a riderselectable residual range.
- Navigation system can transmit time and date to the instrument panel.
- Transmission of the VIN for automatic enabling of the Navigator (bypasses PIN-code antitheft protection when the Navigator is transferred for temporary use on a "known" motorcycle).
Navigation announcements can be either via the speakers of the audio system or a helmet fitted with the BMW Motorrad communication system.

Note: Some features are only functional with preparation for navigation system (standard on the K1600GTL, optional on the K1600GT.)
NOTE: The Garmin ZUMO 660 can also be mounted in the instrument panel of the K1600GT or K1600GTL, but it cannot interface with the on-board electronics (cannot be operated by means of the Multi-Controller).
R1200GS (WC) NOTE: Optional preparation for navigation device is required for mounting this unit on the R1200GS (WC). It is possible to retrofit this equipment (Advanced Mount Cradle and multi-controller), see your BMW Motorrad dealer.
